John L. Land was raised in Monticello, Georgia, and attended nearby Oxford College and Emory University. He obtained his J.D. degree from Campbell University in North Carolina. After returning to Georgia, spent five years as a trial attorney at the Rockdale County Public Defenders dedicated solely to the defense of criminal trials and appeals.

At Morriss, Lober & Dobson, LLC, John’s practice areas include to include both domestic and general civil litigation, as well as criminal defense. John is admitted to all Georgia Courts, and is an active member of the Georgia Assocation of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
